Logo designs for the 16th and 17th Biennial Conferences on the Biology of Marine Mammals

The design on the left won the logo contest of the Society for Marine Mammalogy in 2004, and became the official logo of the 16th Biennial Conference of the SMM held in San Diego, California, in December 2005.

Following the success of the coffee mugs bearing the logo, Emese Kazár was invited to design the official logo of the 17th Biennial Conference, which was held at Cape Town, South Africa in 2007 (right).
